Unlike an analogue collection, I can't show a picture of my collection of 35,000 (and growing) digital photographs. These 100 slides are treasured by the great-grandson of the original photographer, each one a precious heirloom. In the photo to the left, we see a collection of 100 glass slides from a century ago, together with the camera used to make the images. Note to Apple users: I'm a PC user, so some of the software and processes I describe will not apply to Apple (or to Linux).
